The Santiago Scalloped Chest combines traditional solid timber construction with softly highlighted scalloped detailing. Carefully aligned to showcase the natural grain, it features three fully solid dovetailed drawers, finished in our signature wood tones and completed with your choice of brass or ceramic hardware.
Each Santiago chest is made by hand in our West Sussex workshop by experienced craftspeople, using timber sourced through local businesses who share our commitment to responsible forestry and full traceability. Every board is carefully selected to ensure the grain, tone, and character flow naturally through the finished piece. A choice of finishes and hardware means the chest can be adjusted to suit different spaces while keeping its original character.
Our making process combines traditional and contemporary techniques with knowledge built through years of restoring furniture and observing how different constructions age over time. With this in mind, we design and build each chest to stand the test of time, creating a piece that is not only timeless in appearance but made to be cherished as an heirloom for generations.
